It was Maine Mendoza’s (Yaya Dub) birthday when Alden Richards gave a surprise visit to Boracay. In an interview by GMA 7, he revealed that it was his idea to surprise Mendoza. He even hired a private plane to avoid the public eye and to keep his surprise secret.
Alden Richard’s gave gifts to Maine Mendoza according to her name’s initials. M is for Medallion, Saint Benedict’s Medallion to keep Mendoza from harm; A is for Alaga, that is two lovebirds; I is for illustration which is a framed caricature of Alden and Maine; N is for notebook and the most intriguing E is for Maine’s Eyes only.
Richards was happy that the execution of his plan went well and that Mendoza appreciates it.
