MANILA, Philippines – The Close Up “Forever Summer” 2016 party and concert which was a year in the making was marred with the deaths of five participants due to alleged “party drugs” intake on May 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds in Pasay City.
According to testimonies of witnesses, party drugs has been mixed to different alcoholic drinks and passed on to party goers. Participants of the said event are therefore advised to visit the nearest hospital if they are feeling abdominal pains, palpitations and extreme drowsiness.
Closeup issued a statement in their official Facebook Page extending their sympathies to the families of those who passed away and also commit support in their time of bereavement. Closeup also expressed their participation with the authorities for the ongoing investigation.
